The rumor I heard was that NT started out as a sendmail macro...
[BTW, this reference to "NT" is not a reference to "New Technology" per se, but
rather a reference to Microsoft's "Windows NT" in which, paraphrasing NT
project manager David Cutler, "NT" stands for "Newer Technology Than MSDOS". -psl]
