Yesterday's NY TIMES reported that the Virginia congressman who will assume
the chairmanship of the House committee responsible for legislating tobacco is
a mortician by trade.

On hearing this, my eight year old asked if the Tooth Fairy was going to be a
Republican too -- and, if so, if the TF would put a piece of candy under her
pillow instead of money. . . .
