A Colombian garbage collector attended his own funeral after his brothers
mistakenly identified a corpse with gunshot wounds as his.

A British singer gave a solo performance of a song called "Goodbye" at his
choir's annual dinner -- then collapsed and died.

A German court ruled that two of a bigamist's three widows had to share his
pension -- but his first wife should get more.

An Arizona woman called police when her husband didn't return from what he
said was a one-day hunting trip. The ensuing search, which involved a
helicopter, dogs and more than 40 deputies, found him with another woman.
Now the local sheriff is considering billing the errant husband $13,000 for
the cost of the search.
[Of course there's no grounds to do that, which is why police are annoyingly
unwilling to follow up missing persons reports until way too much time has
elapsed. -psl]
