Dear Dance Librarians, recognizing the need for timely and accurate
information on new arts related legislation and initiatives, I have set
up a new listserv to distribute such information. It works much like this
Dance listserv so subscribers will NOT be bombarded with e-mail. The
discipline of dance has been one of the greatest beneficiaries from
programs like those at The NEA, currently under attack. I hope that many
of you can become subscribers, but even if not, please share this
information with others in the arts and education communities.

To subscribe to arts-alert-usa, send e-mail to:

        listproc@lists.colorado.edu
leave the subject line blank. In the message body, type:

subscribe arts-alert-usa followed by your full name and state code.
example:

        subscribe arts-alert-usa Bill Robinson NM

Send questions to Richard Finkelstein at: finkelst@spot.colorado.edu
