No wonder you can't take the heat. Here's something for you to
try, just 'cause I like the way you sit a horse:
Muddle (that means crush the shit out of) 12 mint leaves with 2 teaspoons of
sugar and a splash of water. Then fill the glass with crushed (pulverized)
ice. Top with 2 ounces of bourbon (or Crown Royal, if there's any left).
Stir. Drink three at a time on the sun porch while trying to fit four
syllables into "veranda." Crushing all those things calms you down, drinking
them soothes your fevered brow, and the word "veranda" makes you laugh,
thereby restoring your good humor.
