[We used to live where a roving ice cream truck blared a four-note
 electronic synthesized "version" of a Scott Joplin's rag at 10:30
 pm even in crappy weather.  We never figured out whether the truck
 was selling Ice Cream or drugs, but I did discover that (a) one of
 my other friends always wanted to buy ice cream when he heard it
 and (b) another one of my friends briefly lived in the same house
 as the guy; the house later burned, but not before I had a chance
 to "race" the guy and his cart up Capitol hill.

Subject: Your 1st Amendment in action.

You'll be happy to hear that a federal judge in the Northeast has ruled
that the tinny, repetitive music emitted from ice cream trucks which
sell various frozen sugary treats to kids is protected speech under the
1st amendment.
