The star of TV's "Mission Impossible" says he came up with the idea to make
the drama into a movie 15 years ago! What's more, Peter Graves told Variety
columnist Army Archerd that as the star of the series from 1967 to 1973, he
has part ownership of it. The veteran actor says he hasn't seen any
profits, and he's on a "mission" to get his fair share now that the TV show
has been made into a blockbuster summer movie. Graves, who played "Jim
Phelps," told Archerd he may take Paramount to court. He's especially upset
that he wasn't invited to the film's gala premiere...or even a small
screening. Graves is currently hosting the "Biography" series on the Arts
and Entertainment Network. (Turner Entertainment Report)
