"Marin Brings In da Noise

A Marin County man who attended a recent show by mime Marcel Marceau at the
Marin Veterans Memorial Auditorium was surprised to see a counter in the
lobby where listening devices for the hearing-impared were available.

Official policy is that they're available for all events, a clerk at the
box office explained to Personals. At some events - rock concerts and a
recent performance by taiko drummers, for example - customers came back to
the counter at intermission to ask if the devices could be turned down."
