TOP TEN WAYS TO THROW THE BASTARDS OUT!
[Whichever bastards you have in mind... -psl]
Most important, let your friends, neighbors and
co-workers know what you feel is at stake in this
election -- your opinion matters to them. If every
supporter gets ten more people to the polls,
that could be our winning margin.
Call a radio talk show in the next week and express
your support for your Democratic candidate, and let
people know why you think it is important to vote.
Remind everyone you meet that Election Day is
right around the corner by wearing your candidate's
button or putting his/her bumper sticker on your car.
Write a letter to the editor of your local
newspaper explaining why voting this year will
make a difference.
Change the message on your voice mail or answering
machine to let every caller know that who you
support and remind them to vote on November 3rd.
Volunteer to help at a phone bank during the
weekend before the election. Candidates will be making
thousands of calls to voters to remind them that every
Email 10 friends to remind them to vote November 3rd,
and encourage them to forward your email to 10 more friends.
Call 10 friends to encourage them to turn out to
the polls to vote, and again suggest they contact
ten more friends.
Consider taking a day off on Election Day in
order to help at phone banks, waving signs at
busy intersections or giving rides to the polls.
On Election Day GET TO THE POLLS AND VOTE!!!
If you don't take action you have no right to bitch.
