  I was not aware that in this day and age we still differentiate between
  records and albums, I actually am surprised that people still know what
  records are. To digress, this belief was strengthened by the two youg
  women, 12 or 13 who came to a garage sale I held a couple of years ago
  and upon seeing the box of 45's I was selling ran excitedly to their
  father and asked "dad, what are those?"

Reminds me of something that happened at one of my concerts a couple of
years ago.  My first release was on LP and I still had a few I dragged
around the country to sell at concerts.  At one performance, a young woman
came up to the table, picked up an LP and said "Cool!  Calenders."
