Giant Jersey Pokemon Sting

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 3RD: Nintendo of America, Inc., announced the biggest
Pokemon anticounterfeiting criminal action to date, in which 13 people were
arrested in Hackensack, NJ. Reacting to a tip Nintendo received from Wizards
of the Coast, Inc., the official licensee of the Pokemon trading-card game,
Hackensack law-enforcement officials and Nintendo investigators (yes,
Nintendo does have its own investigators) seized printing equipment and a
supply of counterfeit Pokemon trading cards.  Police estimate that the
operation was cranking out $500,000 worth of counterfeit cards per week.
Since launching its aggressive antipiracy campaign, Nintendo has seized more
than $20 million in counterfeit Pokemon products throughout the United
