Breakdown of Derek Jeter's 7-year $118 million salary as shortstop for the

$500 per hour - that's every hour, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year for 7
years, whether he's working or not

PLUS $5,000 per day - every day, 365 days per hear for 7 years, whether he's
working or not

PLUS $50,000 per week - every week, 52 weeks per year for 7 years, whether
he's working or not

PLUS $500,000 per month - every month, 12 months per year for 7 years,
whether he's working or not

PLUS $2,000,000 per year - every year for 7 years whether he's working or not

And if that wasn't enough...

PLUS a bonus after 7 years of over $300,000.

                                       From Cliff Perry, Math Man
                                     (Who was that math man?
                                       Thank you, math man!)
