In the midst of a discussion of the possibility of ballot counters
manipulating chad, David Boies was physically demonstrating how difficult
it would be to secrete a handful of chad in his cheek.  Apparently that
didn't sit well with Justice Antonin Scalia, who'd himself apparently chewed
chad when he was an election worker in the 1950s, and who believed that
the consistency of this "modern" chad differed from that he'd experienced
himself.  According to the transcript, Scalia questioned the attorney:
"Pardon me, Boies, is that the chad I knew that you chew?"
